The Detachment of Kansas will be having an upcoming money making

 

project to raise money for the American Legion Child Welfare

 

 Foundation. Check with Detachment Officers for more details.

Applications for the 6 scholarships that the Detachment of Kansas

 

awards each year are now available on line in this web site. Also

 

 applications may be obtained by contacting Detachment Adjutant

 

Wes Wills. The Scholarships that are available: U.S. "Udie" Grant

 

 Scholarship--$500.   also 5-$500 Jay B. Thielen Scholarships. The

 

 deadline to turn in the applications will be February 15, 2012. The

 

 applicant or an immediate Family member must be a member of the

 

Detachment of Kansas Sons of The American Legion to be eligible.
